Set sail on the tranquil morning sea aboard our journey from the historic port of Portimão, a city that once played a significant role in Portugal's fish canning production during the 19th and early 20th centuries
Cruising along the Arade River we'll pass by the charming Fishermen’s village of Ferragudo and the 15th century Fort of São João do Arade castle, arriving at Ferragudo lighthouse, where sails are set.
Out of the river-mouth and onto the open sea, we head southeast along the coastline of Lagoa, where you can admire the pretty town of Carvoeiro and the striking Algar Seco rock formations.
Near the Alfazina lighthouse we help you transfer onto our smaller boats to go into the mesmerising caves and grottoes near the beaches of Carvalho, Benagil, and Marinha. Hold your breath as you explore deep inside these amazing cavernous formations on traditional cave boats.
Highlights include the cathedral-like Benagil Cave and a chance for a refreshing dip, before we motor back to port.
